  • GE Dishwasher Leaking

    GE Dishwasher Leaking

When the dishwasher enters the pump-out phase it engages a solenoid, and it is where this solenoid interacts with the water to force it to pump out that leaking occurs. I have seen this numerous times and in most cases it requires the replacement of the entire pump/ motor assembly.

  • Bake Ignitor in GE JGBP36CEJ1CC Range

Bake Ignitor in GE JGBP36CEJ1CC Range

Issue with this GE oven was that the oven section took several minutes to ignite. Upon inspection I couldn’t find anything wrong, the baconitor glowed and eventually it ignited the gas, however, replacing the bake igniter allowed it to heat up much quicker. Most likely this is because the more times an igniter heats up…

  • Samsung Refrigerator Section Freeze-Up Repair

    Samsung Refrigerator Section Freeze-Up Repair

Samsung RF28HFEDTSR tends to freeze up in the upper right area of the refrigerator sections evaporator coils. I added this tape and foam in an effort to keep it from freezing in this section in the future. Only Time Will Tell.

  • Iced Over Refrigerator Section

    Iced Over Refrigerator Section

Why oh why did manufacturers like this Samsung unit, start adding evaporator coils in the refrigerator section!? I have yet to see the benefit of doing this. Leave the cooling to the freezer section! …anyways, this is another iced over evap coils in the fresh food section of a Samsung.

  • Dryer making squealing noise.

Replaced belt, rollers, and idler pulley on this Samsung dryer.

  • Samsung Dryer Heating Element

    Samsung Dryer Heating Element

Had to replace the heating element in this Samsung DV42H5200EW/A3. As you can see it burnt out where I am holding it. I went in through the back at first and tested all the fuses with my Ohm meter, but when I tested the element as bad I had to go in from the front…

  • Pulley Worn Through by Belt

    Pulley Worn Through by Belt

Samsung DV42H5200GP must have had it’s pulley freeze up a while ago because it’s belt wore a deep groove right through it! Here is the old pulley next to the new one.

  • Last Rites for Refrigerator

    Last Rites for Refrigerator

This LG LFSX307 refrigerator had taken some abuse. Besides physical damage from someone having moved it I noticed that the compressor had a schrader valve on it which means some technician in the past had broken into the sealed system. Most likely to add refrigerant because it probably had a leak. Now the unit is…

  • Refrigerator Ice Dispenser Stuck

    Refrigerator Ice Dispenser Stuck

The ice dispenser door/flap had become stuck on this LG refrigerator. I had to disassemble the entire dispenser to get to where I could see where it’s plastic hinge mechanism had become misaligned. If the fix doesn’t hold I’ll recommend replacing some of its parts.

  • Replacing Bathroom Vent Fan

    Replacing Bathroom Vent Fan

A bit outside my wheelhouse but when a customer complained their bathroom fan was not working I did a bit of research and ordered a replacement off Amazon.

  • Samsung Duo Dryer Control Boards

A common problem with these Flex Duo Dryers from Samsung is that the drum will continue to turn with no heat endlessly, even with door open and control panel off, until you unplug it. When I replaced the control boards it corrected this issue, locating these control boards was an issue unto itself.

  • Received this defrost control circuit board for installation in a customer’s refrigerator.
