Epoxy putty to the rescue!

On switch knob has crack and the switch itself is worn

Repair:

Replacing both the start switch and the knob was gonna be too expensive. So we ended up using some epoxy putty and cramming it into the knob area where it’s cracked and then pressed it onto the shaft.
