The display and selection panel on this top control GE dishwasher had gone out. I tested a few things and rebooted it and determined the upper board was getting power which indicated the display/selection board as being at fault.

I ordered a replacement for the display board. It was interesting that the new board had dip switches on it that needed to be set to the proper “personality” depending on the particular model of the unit. I haven’t see dip switches used in years.
