I’ve had several customers buy new appliances from a local liquidator recently. There’s always something wrong with the unit which is why its at the liquidator. In this case it was a Samsung french door refrigerator, model number F28R7201SR/AA and it was completely missing the hinge on the left fresh food door!?

Upon repair I also added several layers of tape to the bare wires that route down into the door through the hinge as well.

When I looked up the replacement part I was surprised that it doesn’t affix to the fridge by bolts as usual but by a lever, so I had to order that too. This picture is of the right side hinge but the new one for the other door was very similar.
