This is the damper assembly from the fresh food section of a Kenmore 596.65232401 refrigerator. The motor was making a loud annoying noise. This damper has a louver that opens and closes to allow or restrict air flow from the freezer section. I hit it with some WD-40 which quieted it down while I wait for the replacement to arrive.
