Can the suction line off the compressor freeze up due to a bad evaporator fan motor?

Whirlpool 25 cu. possible fan motor went out

Diagnosis:

The evaporator fan motor was not working. The defrost drip line was clogged and the low side suction line out of the compressor was icing up.

Repair:

We cut the end off the defrost drip line to widen it so it doesn’t get clogged again. We also replaced the evaporator fan motor.
