Bake Ignitor in GE JGBP36CEJ1CC Range

Issue with this GE oven was that the oven section took several minutes to ignite. Upon inspection I couldn’t find anything wrong, the baconitor glowed and eventually it ignited the gas, however, replacing the bake igniter allowed it to heat up much quicker. Most likely this is because the more times an igniter heats up it lowers its resistance and takes longer to heat up the next time. So even though I could see the original igniter glowing it wasn’t necessarily sending the proper resistance to the gas valve for it to safely open.
