(I ran into another example of a washer tub being rusted through so I decided to update this earlier post)

Rarely do I see a washer tub that has completely rusted through like this. With the agitator in place you could not see the damage, but when you ran it you sure could hear it!

This is a Kenmore that is made by Whirlpool. You can tell because the model # starts with 110. It’s my favorite design for a washer due to its reliability and ease of repair and they still make it today.

In the end the customer is going to replace the unit as a new tub is around $250 and this one has other issues.
